Really good interview! I’ve been subscribed to Pat’s Smart Passive Income blog for a while now and he always puts out good material. The way he has leveraged systems to make his work load so small is amazing stuff. I do like how he mentioned how much work it is getting up and running though at first, that’s what I’m experiencing right now. Once again, great stuff.

I do have a website with respectable traffic from google organic keywords (PR3) and I am still struggling to break even. Where can I see an income breakdown from your blog?. Coincidentally I subscribed to Passive Income, yesterday.

What inspiration! This is the first time I’ve come across Smart Passive Income, and instantly loved the site. The material and information is solid, and there’s just something about Pat that makes you like him. His personality comes out in his writing, and he is genuinely someone I would want to know.
Thanks for a fantastic interview!

Pat is definitely a first rate human being. I strongly recommend everyone to follow his work just because he is that good.
Celebrate great people and Pat is a damn good place to start!

This is awesome – thank you for sharing. It just goes to show you that with a little determination you can do a lot. What some people might think is just a hobby or of interest to only a few can be a legitimate business idea. This is the perfect example of discovering a niche market and providing useful and valuable content in order to generate some income (well….in his case, A LOT of income). Very cool. It’s stuff like this that keeps me motivated.

Great interview and a good example for succeeding organically, without relying on all this marketing buzz BS around the web. Thanks for that!

That is awesome. Nice work! Sites like yours should be picked up high by Google. You were just creating great content without some other motive. Cheers!

I am very inspired by reading this. You see so many “get rich quick on-line” schemes around. Pat seems to be honest and genuine in how he came into this fortune and in sharing with others what he has learned. Thanks for this great interview!

I think setting up a new online business can take a lot of hard work, especially the promotion side of it. However, once it hits critical mass, you can ease off and it should be bringing in passive income.
I also enjoy your blog.

This is great. So glad a fellow Cal Bears alumni is killing it online!
It’s relatively easy to make $500-$1,000/month online, but to make $10,000+++ like Pat is quite an accomplishment. Congrats!

Fantastic interview, thanks for sharing. I often hear about how much people make online, but rarely do I get the full progression of how they got started, what motivated them, etc.

John & Pat…
Impressed and inspired, to say the least. It is so great when we discover that sharing what we love can be lucrative! I’m excited that it has also provided you the lifestyle you love, too. I’m all for that :0) Are you still in California?
